The Christian religion adopted these emblems for Easter which is celebrated on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the vernal equinox. The theme of the conception of the Goddess was adapted as the Feast of the Annunciation, occurring on the alternative fixed calendar date of March 25 Old Lady Day, the earlier date of the equinox. Lady Day may also refer to other goddesses (such as Venus and Aphrodite), many of whom have festivals celebrated at this time.

Easter is nothing but repackaged paganism that comes from the celebration of the regeneration

of "mother earth"  Gaea.  The celebration of 

Ishtar was associated with the vernal equinox every spring.  Astarte, Aphrodite, Venus and many other goddesses are simply different names in different countries for the same goddess.    The english word Easter comes from eastra, the Saxon name for Ishtar, the goddess

of spring.    The feast of Ishtar was not Christian-ized until 325 AD at Constantine's Council of Nicea.  Constantine was head of the Roman Church and not a saved man.  He made Easter an official holy day  to celebrate the

resurrection of Christ on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the vernal equinox.


The Easter Bunny,  Colored Eggs,  Lent,  Ash Wednesday, Hot Cross Buns,  The Easter Ham, Wicker Easter Baskets,  Easter Sunrise Service, Mardi Gras, etc. . .  This all comes from the ancient pagan religion of mystery Babylon. They have nothing to to with the resurrection of Christ.

Easter is a Pagan Roman Catholic Festival of Rebirth and has nothing to do with the resurrection of  Jesus Christ.   The Easter celebration  both  paganizes  the true Church of Christ  and   minimizes the importance of the   Resurrection  by making it an annual celebration.   It is also being used as an ecumenical tool  to 
bring Catholics and Christians together on the Resurrection of the Lord  Jesus.
This is Dangerous, because the Roman Catholic Church denies the Resurrection
with their dead Jesus and profanes his sacrifice with their Mass.

Good Friday?  Uhh..Bad Arithmetic

Early Christians celebrated Resurrection Day on the same day as the Jewish Passover, regardless of the day of the week on which it fell.  However, when the Gentiles became prominent in the early church, they required the celebration to fall on Sunday.   A major conflict ensued contributing to the rift between the easter and western branches of the church. 


      The Emperor Constantine called the Council of Nicea in 325 A.D.  The question  of the date of Easter

was one of it's main concerns.  The council decided that Easter should fall on Sunday following the first

full moon after the vernal equinox.  The astronomically astute Alexandrians were given the job of 

computing the date.  Additional difficulties were overcome when March 21 was chosen as the date of 

the vernal equinox...The date of Easter today follows the Nicene reckoning.  The Eastern Orthodox 

Church stipulates in addition that Easter must fall after Passover.

the Civil War did Easter services become prominent again in America

According to scripture, Jesus was crucified on a Wednesday at 9 a.m. He died at 3 p.m.
and was put in a tomb before 6 p.m. the start of a new Jewish day.  He was raised up after 3 days and 3 nights sometime after sundown on Saturday.  Our Lord came  out
of the grave, not at sunrise, but in  the evening.  That is why when the women arrived,
early in the morning, at the first glimmer of light (Matt 28:1), they found the stone  was already rolled away. (Luke 24:2) by the angel (Matt. 28:2). NOBODY was in the tomb early in the morning when they arrived.  "And early came Mary Magdalene, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre." John 20:1     Sunrise services are for the worship of the Pagan Sun god.  Ezekiel 8:16

In Conclusion, God gave Israel seven times a year for special days. He gave the church
the first day of the week.  Anything else has been added without biblical authority. That does not necessarily mean that something added would be wrong.  It simply means that
God did not command nor ordain it.  Thus, it's rightness or wrongness depends on what it is and whether it violates biblical principles. 
Christians may celebrate Christmas  or Easter if they wish (Romans 14:5)  But they should
not call them "Christian" holidays.  Jesus is not the "reason  for the season", and never has been.  He is not interested in anybody's mass nor their ecumenical sunrise worship. Things pagan are not Christian.   A Christmas tree has nothing to do with the birth of Christ.   An Easter bunny has nothing to do with the resurrection of Jesus Christ, nor does

“Christ our Passover”: Just as unleavened bread symbolized being freed from Egypt by the Passover, so the church is to be unleavened, since it has been separated from the dominion of sin and death by the perfect Passover Lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ. The church is therefore, to remove everything sinful in order to be separate from the old life, including the influence of sinful church members.


“Keep the feast”: In contrast to the Old Testament Passover feast celebrated annually, believers constantly celebrate the “feast” of the new Passover, Jesus Christ. As the Jews who celebrate Passover do so with unleavened bread, so believers celebrate their continual Passover with unleavened lives.

The hot cross buns are not now offered, but eaten instead, on the festival of Easter (Astarte - Ishtar).  The + was the T for Tammuz but was changed to X for Christ by the Catholic Church.

The Bible gives no indication that believers are to commemorate our Lord's resurrection (or birth) with special worship. Strangely, it is the world and "nominal" Christians who love to celebrate Easter, even while they despise the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ -- the one they are supposedly worshiping.
